One by one, former Denver Broncos are latching on elsewhere.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that Chicago coach John Fox has lured away the player he drafted in Denver in 2012, per a source involved with the deal. The Bears later confirmed the deal.

Rapoport adds deal is worth roughly $28 million, according to a source involved with the deal.
It’s a move that makes plenty of sense for both sides after Trevathan crowed about the Bears during Super Bowl Week, saying: “I believe I can fit in any scheme. Coach Fox is one of the guys that gave me the opportunity to showcase I can fit within the scheme. I’m sure it’ll be there, I’m sure we’ll end up talking.”
Trevathan produced a strong season on tape at inside linebacker for Denver’s Wade Phillips-led unit. Paired with Brandon Marshall jersey, the duo finished the year as the NFL’s fifth- and sixth-best players at their position, per Pro Football Focus.
Despite the nondescript start to training camp, fellow Bears receivers aren’t fretting over the lack of production over a few snaps.
“He’s taking coaching well and learning, because, I mean, he missed the whole year last year, so this year he’s progressing right where we need him to be,” Alshon Jeffery jersey said this week, via ESPN. “He listens to the coaches, and he’s making plays and cheap jerseys and he’s having fun.”
While White hasn’t flashed much, it’s merely two preseason games. That he’s stayed healthy after missing his entire rookie season due to injury is the best sign for Chicago.
“I just told him to play physical because he’s big, he’s strong and he’s fast,” Jeffery said. “(Receivers) Coach Curtis Johnson reminds him of that all the time. So, just told him to go out and have fun with wholesale jerseys, just play physical and just do what he’s been doing.”
White’s snap count will be something to watch during Saturday’s preseason tilt with the Kansas City Chiefs jerseys. More than the previous two games, the second-year player should be on the field longer and a bigger part of the offense.
With a remade backfield, the Bears’ offense will rely on a receiving corps of Jeffery, White and Eddie Royal to move the ball. That plan only works if White is healthy and ready for a bigger role in 2016. He hasn’t flashed yet, but the talent is evident. White’s upside this season should be as high as any receiver yet to take his first regular-season snap.
“Obviously we felt good,” Fox explained. “… We made decisions last week that we were able to make because we have great confidence in our young backs. What that workload is or what that definition of their role is will be up to them and how they perform and how they prepare and what they put on the field when we start work.”
A wide receiver when he first arrived at Michigan State, Langford flashed dual-threat talent as the featured back when Forte went down with an MCL sprain in November.

Although it’s natural to assume Langford will pick up the bulk of Forte’s workload, Fox appreciates Carey’s physicality.
“The way he carries his pads,” Fox said of Carey. “We’re here and sometimes a lot gets put into height, weight, speed, 40, and a lot of times it’s hard to measure what’s behind that left nipple and between your ears. I think he’s a guy that after contact is pretty special. … I enjoy watching him run.”
Accounting for 32.0 percent of the Bears’ offense, Forte was enjoying an excellent season prior to his knee injury. It will be interesting to see if Langford and Carey can mimic that success by combining for one-third of Chicago’s offensive output in 2016.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick opted to leave Garoppolo in for the first possession of the third quarter, which featured an impressive seven-play field-goal drive.
Garoppolo finished 16 of 21 for 181 yards and a touchdown, but didn’t inspire as much excitement as the numbers might suggest.
Not one to pull off splash throws downfield, Garoppolo too often settled for the safe pass to running backs and tight ends rather than stretching the defense. More problematic, he threw behind his intended target in three key situations, effectively stalling two drives and missing out on a second touchdown pass to tight end A.J. Derby jersey.
It’s worth noting that Garoppolo was playing without Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman jersey, Danny Amendola and promising rookie Malcolm Mitchell — four of the New England’s most effective weapons in the aerial attack.
In other words, we’re reluctant to draw sweeping conclusions about Garoppolo’s ability to emulate Tom Brady’s brilliance while leading a high-octane offense during the first four weeks of the regular season.
